    Teachers Professional Library 


    The Professional Library located at 392 SE 19th Ave.  Ocala, FL 34471, is open for teachers to utilize resources and services on Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  For more information please call Hilary Dunston at 867-2113 or ext.50183.


    A collection of books, videos, kits, and electronic resources, designed for professional educators to use in classroom preparation, completing degree work, completing course certification, and researching educational topics of personal interest.

    Stop in to browse the Professional Library's magazine rack and bookshelves for PD materials or materials to supplement your curriculum.  You may also search for materials in Destiny from any computer with internet access and request materials through the interlibrary loan process.  Contact your school librarian for ILL requests. 

    Books may be checked out for a two-week period and may be renewed for an additional two weeks. Materials can be requested through an ILL initiated by your School Librarian, or by calling Library Media Services directly.  The materials will be sent to your school via the school courier.

    • Laminate up to 24" wide at $0.10 per linear foot
    • Login to a computer to do research, use one of our on-line resources, read an e-book, or browse Destiny for available materials
    • Sit down and utilize one of our available workspaces
    • Turn your PDF file into a full-color poster.  Prices:  24 X 31= $10.00,  17 X 24= $7.00, 13 X 19= $5.00

    • Destiny   -- is an online catalog that searches your school's library or the professional library
    • Destiny Discover-- is a digital library filled with ebooks
    • Gale -- is an online reference database used for research
    • Teaching Books -- is a search engine like Google but for books
    • Office 365 For Students -- is a page with directions that will guide students with using Office 365
    • World Book Online - Contact your school librarian for the username and password, or access World Book through your student portal.
