    Chapter 5 Questions

    1. How is Pony’s life at Jay Mountain different from his life as a greaser in the city?
    2. Answer the following questions to explain why appearance is very important in this chapter:  How does their appearance change?  How do Ponyboy and Johnny feel about this change?  How will others view them now that they have changed appearance?
