From start to finish, CRR focuses on individualized attention through immersion in community activities and authentic Costa Rican activities. Each tour is designed to provide an unforgettable experience of the "real" Costa Rica.
Day 1: Arrive in San Jose and travel to La Cusinga Lodge on the Pacific Coast
Day 2: Wake to the sound of howler monkeys and toucans. Take a guided hike with a naturalist expert.
Day 3: Enter Cavern, Hike, and Rappel a Waterfall (Sleep behind waterfall)
Day 4: Hike and swim more waterfalls and pools. Travel to Sitio de Mata for Home-Stay. Play soccer with local children.
Day 5: Home-Stay Activities-Learn to cook traditional food over wood-burning stove. Make new friends. Habla Español!
Day 6: Enter Pacuare River (listed by Nat Geo as 1 of 3 most scenic rivers on the planet!) and raft with Costa Rican Resource’s experienced river guides. Enjoy an evening bonfire, activities, and sleep at the Rio Pacuare Adventure Lodge.
Day 7: Zipline, Tarzan Swing, Tree Rappel, and Nature Hike at Rio Pacuare Adventure Lodge.
Day 8: Raft Pacuare Canyon, souvenir stop back in “civilization,” and transfer to San Jose hotel.
Day 9: Tearful farewells and flight back to Florida.
Trip cost: $2400 (depending on group size and airfare); 25% ($600) to secure reservation
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner (delicious, healthy, muchas frutas)
