"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"

    Percey Shelley's "Ozymandias", 1819

I will be out of the class from January 28th to February 8th for military service. I will be back on February 11th. The students will be taking their Chapter 7 Test on that day. As long as they have studied their outlines they will do fine (if they were absent, the outlines are in the World History lectures tab). Students who are participating in the National History Fair will be turning in their projects on that day as well. I will have limited access to communication while I am away, so I do apologize if I do not respond to you in a timely manner. I know that the students will succeed and do whats right while I am gone. Thank you.

  • Dear World History Families,

To enhance home-school communication, I plan to use an app called Remind.   This app was designed for teachers and allows me to send reminders about classroom happenings via text message.  I have found it is a quick and effective way to get messages to you about important things that are happening in class, such as important events, tests, homework, and etc.

If you are interested in receiving these messages, follow the directions found below.  Standard text messaging rates will apply.  One neat feature of this app is that all phone numbers are kept private.  Also, you will not receive any advertisements.

For Cambridge World History Only: To sign up to receive messages, simply text @e26242 to this number: 81010.

For World History Regular Only:To sign up to receive messages, simply text @4a6e2d to this number: 81010.

If at anytime you would like to stop receiving text updates, simply text STOP to the same number.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

    Thank you,
