I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Michigan and have been in the Sunshine State for over 25 years.  It has been an honor and a privilege to be part of Madison Street Academy.  This is my 20th year here and my 17th year in the 5th grade.  Wow...time flies when you are having fun.  I received my B.A. from Saint Leo University and have been teaching at Madison Street since I graduated.  

I have teaching in my blood as many of my relatives are also educators.  In my heart I believe that all children can learn and need to be challenged to do their "personal best." As your child's teacher, please know that I am dedicated to working hard to ensure that your child is successful...this can be accomplished with us all working together.  

When I'm not at school, I enjoy decorating my home, cooking and being with family and friends.  I spend most of my summer in Michigan...my second home...and enjoy boating on the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan.  I love college football and actually have a heart divided...half goes to Alabama...Roll Tide and the other half goes to Florida...Go Gators!
