Sra. Enid Blanco

My name is Enid Blanco, but I would like to be called Señora Blanco. I was born in Puerto Rico. I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, and have a Bachelor Degree in Science with a major in Chemistry, and in Education. I have been living in United States for the last 18 years. The first ten years I lived in Hernando County, and taught Spanish at Hernando High School. I moved to Ocala when my first grandchild was born. I’m the proud grandmother of two wonderful grandkids.  My first year in the county, I taught at Forest High School, then I was transferred to Howard Middle School and this is my seventh year teaching Spanish. My hobbies are traveling, visit museums and reading. My favorite books are La casa de los espíritus (Isabel Allende) and Juventud en extásis (Carlos Cuauhtemoc Sánchez.)

Teaching is my passion and I love to see my students’ faces when they accomplish their goals. I am looking forward to being your teacher. I have an exciting year of learning planned for you. I know you are going to be in good hands. Welcome to the Spanish class!

Thank you for supporting your child’s success and I hope that my only communication with you will be positive. Keep in mind that you may register for your own Parent Portal account to allow you access to your child’s grades.
