Forest Visual Art Classes
I am John Yakulevich Forest High Art educator.This is my 32nd year at Forest. I am excited to be back in the classrooom this year and ready to make art with you.
We are trying to keep things simple this year with the potential for going to online learning, thus we will somewhat limit the variety of art mediums we will be using.
STUDENT SUPPY LIST STUDIO for 1,2, 3 AP art, Acess Drawing classes and Sculpture classes
1.) #2 Pencils or you may get nicer pencil sets. I will suply ebony pencils.
2.) Sketch book: 11"x14" Prefered...-8'x 10" acceptable... College ruled compositional notebook minimal
3.) a covered/self contained pencil sharpener Minimally #2 Pencils or you may get nicer pencil sets. I will suply ebony pencils.
4.) Earasers- everybody makes mistakes! :)
5.) Pens...Uniball vision (available at walmart, office Depot and such) or nicer pen set...BLACK (NOT NEEDED FOR SCULPTURE)
6.) Watercolor set : Crayola or Prang set of 8 is fine, you may get nicer to work with if you like. Please get a small detail brush or two.(NOT NEEDED FOR SCULPTURE)
Sculpture classes Will also need to pick up 3x rolls of packing tape and 2x rolls orf seran wrap for a special project we will be doing in the future.

The County is requiring 3 grades per week
One of those will be tied to a roll call/ attendence,
The second will be tied to an art critique
The third will be your shown progress on the assignent the first week and the finished project on the second week
