Ms. Conner - AICE
Welcome to AICE AS General Paper:
What separates this class from other English classes is that it requires students to become a global citizen. Everything that students have learned from all of their classes matters here. There will be times when we are discussing history, science, government and policy, world cultures, literature, and art, and they ask themselves what any of this has to do with English. It has EVERYTHING to do with English because from here on out, students will be asked to BE ACTIVE CITIZENS and learn about the world around them and write analytically, think logically, apply reasoning, evaluate, and employ independent thinking.
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” Mahatma Gandhi

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." Dr. Seuss
