Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Ken Adamic
I have been a coach at Forest High School since 2001 for the girls varsity softball team. Originally from Brooklyn, I've lived in Ocala since 1989 and have worked primarily in the restaurant business. My job was a managing consultant in the openings of 17 diverse restaurants ranging from Seafood and Irish pubs to elegant golf course restaurants for Spruce Creek and Del Webb. In 2008, there was an opportunity to join the Forest team full time as an instructor for Culinary Arts. I immediately took advantage of the situation and became a teacher working with many students. Now I have the opportunity to help motivate these students to pursue their careers in the Hospitality and Foodservice industries. We have taken many students to compete in our State competitions for Baking, Culinary Arts and Restaurant Services with some of them advancing to the National SkillsUSA competitions in Kansas City. I've helped facilitate and judge in the national competitions for our student organization as well. I look forward to each new year and the excited faces of my incoming and returning students.
