Welcome to the Marion County Center for the Arts Acting Program!

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.

If you received an acceptance letter to West Port High School and are inerested in auditioning for Acting, please contact Melissa Kittles at 352-291-4000 to schedule your audition for Saturday, April 25.*** You will need to prepare a 1-2 minute memorized monologue from a published play.
***Due to school closures due to COVID-19, we will be accepting video auditions/interviews. Please check back here for more information on how to submit your video.

The West Port High School Drama Booster Club meets the first Tuesday of every month from September through May at 7:00 PM in Room 05-102. Refreshmensts are served at 6:45 PM
