Hello, my name is Doris Hardy and I will be your child's Reading teacher this year. I am very excited about working with you and your child. We will be perfecting many reading strategies that will include vocabulary and comprehension building skills. I'm sure that with hard work and determination this year will be a SUCCESS !!! I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees at the University of Central Florida and my Ed. Specialist degree at National Louis University. Additionally, I have acquired my English grades 6-12, Reading and ESOL endorsement/certifications. I have worked for the state of Florida for over 30 years; however, my BEST fifteen years have been at West Port High! I have worked with kids for many years and I still enjoy their smiling faces! I believe that children are our future; therefore, we should do our best to teach, to nurture, and to inspire them!
