Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
Thank you for being so patient with us while we move to a Distance Learning Platform. In order to make this transition a smooth one, I have created a Zoom schedule so that I can better serve my families.
Each week I will email an invite to your child to join a Zoom lesson. Zoom lessons will consist of content area skills and assistance with the packet that your child’s homeroom teacher sent home to complete. We will address Language Arts skills during the first half of the lesson and math skills during the second half of the lesson. Please have your child bring his/her packet.
Kindergarten Zoom lessons will be on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, First grade will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. and Second grade will be on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. Make-up Zoom lessons or help with the packets will be on Fridays or I can schedule you for a different day and time that is convenient for you. Please let me know at least one day in advance the day & time available so that I can prepare to send you an invite.
