Good morning parents & students,
This week for math, I have assigned Kick Start Week 31. You will find it under the title Math under the Classwork tab. Please also continue to complete lessons assigned on Splash Learn. For Science, students have been assigned a Read Works story on animal adaptations. Please let me know by email or class dojo if you need any passwords for Splash Learn. Thank you for all you are doing to help your child succeed.
Good morning Parents & Students!
Along with this weeks math and science assignments, I would like you to log in to Splashlearn.com and check my lesson assignments there. I assigned 5 different lessons on March 18th and not very many are completed. Please take the time as you can to catch up on these. If you are done with all of these, congratulations and thank you for getting them done! I will be using these as part of their math grade. IF you have any questions please let me know. Have a great day!
Ms. Robertson :)
Parents and Students,
This week on Google Classroom you will find one math assignment that will include 5 days worth of work. Each day complete one day of the math Kick Start Week 30. Day 5 will count as your grade. Please let me know if you need any assistance.
For Science, I have assigned a Stem Scope lesson on Classifying Animals. You will complete the Reading lesson and submit when finished.
Have a great week, I miss you all and hope you are staying healthy.
Ms. Robertson :)
Parents & Students,
This coming week, I would like to try a couple different things for classwork. I am going to list here all lessons and how to get there. I am hoping it will be easier for all of us. Only two Math lessons will be on Google Classroom. One Math lesson will be on Think Central, which the kids will access from their portal. A Science lesson will be on Stem Scopes, also on the student portal. I will list directions on how to get there and how to turn in. Thank you for all of the hard work, and for all the help and guidance you are giving at home. As usual, if you have any questions or concerns, please email me or message on Class Dojo.
1. Math Practice on Google Classroom
2. Math Quiz on Google Classroom
3. Go Math Lesson 2.2 Using Picture graphs on Think Central
1. Math Connection for Classifying Animals on Stem Scopes
How to Access Think Central:
All students are familiar with their portal homepage where they access iReady. From this page they will be able to access Think Central. If they do not see it on the home page, at the bottom of the home page they will see e-Textbooks. Click here and a Think Central icon will show. Once you click on it, the first the they should see is a "Things to do" page. This is where they will see the lesson 2.2 on picture graphs. Important to know: when working on lesson there will be different color circles they work through on a bar. When you get to the orange circle and complete that part, you must click turn in for me to see the work. Same for the red circle, there will be 5 questions to do and then you must click turn in for me to see completed work.
How to Access Stem Scopes:
Same as iReady and Think Central, Stem Scopes will be on the portal homepage. If you don't see it, click Programs at the bottom of the home screen. Now you should see Stem Scopes. Once you click Stem Scopes icon, the students should see the lesson I assigned, Math Connection. Please remember to turn in once completed.
I will continue to be here by email or Class Dojo between 9-10 am and 1-2 p.m. Thank you for all of your continued support. Stay safe and happy. :)
