Hi There!

I am Mrs. Merritt and I began my teaching career in 2012 after graduating college with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. This is my seventh year teaching, and my fourth year here at Maplewood. I am married to my wonderful husband Adam and we have two beautiful children, a boy and a girl who are twins. I am so blessed and thankful to be working here at Maplewood as I have always been passionate about children with special needs. I truly enjoy spending each and every day showing and teaching my students to be their BEST and most capable selves. I'm looking forward to a great year!
