I am blessed to teach at Maplewood! I started my career right here at Maplewood in 1999, so I consider this to be my home. I have also taught first grade and was a support facilitator for third grade. My passion and expetise has brought me back to teaching those with special needs. I have been Rookie Teacher 03-04 and Teacher of the year 12-13.

My belief is that all children are teachable!

I have three children of my own, all who were and still are Maplewood students. They are 13, 10, and 9. My husband is my biggest supporter by far. He is the calm of the storm and allows the focus of what I have in mind become a reality.
