Classroom and Team Expectations
¨ Be on time to class.
¨ Be prepared for class (folder, paper, pencils, etc.).
¨ Respect yourself, staff, classmates, and school property.
¨ Try your best. If you don’t succeed, try, try and try again. I respect your efforts.
Grading Information:
You are the individual responsible for the grade you receive. I do not “give” grades, you earn them.
9-weeks grades will be based on the following:
Classwork/Daily Assignments
Homework:
The only homework that I ask of the kids is to read for at least 20 minutes each night and to write me a summary of what has been read. Other than that there is no homework. However, there may be some work sent home with your child. If a student does not complete his/her assignment of the day, they will be asked to take it home and complete it that evening and return it the next school day. This will be a classroom assignment grade and will have a detrimental effect on their overall grade if left incomplete
I AM HORIZON!!
Are you?
