Welcome all to Mrs. Larson's 3rd grade class. 3rd grade is a critical year for students.

I realize that this time is very difficult for everyone and I hope you are all staying safe.  I miss all of my wonderful class!  I hope you picked up or downloaded your first work packet which includes reading, math, and science assignments.  You can also go on to:

    1.  Prodigy

    2. Educationgalaxy.com

    On your portal:

    3. MyOn

    4. I-Ready

    5. Stem scopes

Keep reading, keep learning, stay calm, and stay safe!

Beginning March 30, 2020, lessons and work will be available on this site for my class under the assignment tab.

All assignments will be listed both on my website under the assignment tab as well as in google classroom. Come back weekly  to check for new assignments.  New assignments will be posted every Sunday night or Monday morning.

Turning in assignments will look a lot different now.  No paper copies will be turned in.  Any work that can’t be submitted through an assigned website will need to be emailed to me or uploaded into google classroom.  Take a photo of the work and upload to google classroom or email it to me.  My email is listed below or send through class dojo.

I have set up a google voice phone number that you will be able to reach me at.  My google voice number is: 352-389-1706.  My available times will be: M-F 10-10:30 am and 1-2 pm.

I will also have a zoom meeting each day from 10:30-11:00 am for the students. You will need to download Zoom and sign up for an account for your child.  Email, call, or dojo me for the meeting number and password.

You can also reach me by way of ClassDojo for those of you who are signed up, or email me @ Christine.larson@marion.k12.fl.us

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
