Mrs. Myrna Wiley

My name is Myrna Wiley. I am an ESE Inclusion teacher. I provide Support Facilitation and direct instruction primarily in the area of Reading to ESE students in general education grades 2 - 5.  I also provide math Support Facilitation to several fourth grade students. This is my sixth year teaching at MOES, which I thoroughly enjoy because of our hard-working students, dedicated teachers, and dynamic administration. Previously, I taught and supervised in New York City for over twenty-five years.

My teaching principles are: (1) Every child can learn; (2) All children learn differently; (3) It is imperative that I implement evidence-based teaching/learning strategies to help all my students succeed. When they succeed, I succeed! To ensure each student's success, I work with my general education teacher-partners to deliver differentiated Reading and math instruction, allowing each student the opportunity to learn at his own rate and level.

During this special teaching/learning period, I will continue to do the same via email and by phone. Office hours are: Grade 5 8:00-10:00; Grade 3 10:00-11:00; Grade 4 12:00-2:00; Grade 2 2:00-3:00.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your child's teacher. As partners in education we can make the difference that your child deserves.
