Ms. Myrna Wiley, Special Educator

Hello Students and Parents,

I am an ESE Inclusion teacher, also referred to as a Support Facilitator in the general education classroom. This is my sixth year teaching at Marion Oaks Elementary, and over twenty years of teaching and leading in the field of Exceptional Student Education. You may ask, why so many years in this particular field of education? Here is my answer, my dedication lies in the educational advancement of students with special needs, especially in the area of Reading.

My graduate level courses at Long Island University in New York, were specific towards training ESE teachers to work in inclusive classrooms. My academic instruction entails working on the same grade-level Standards all students are expected to learn, using evidence-based best practice teaching/learning strategies and techniques to help students learn and master new skills. This School Year, I will be teaching Reading with the following teachers and grade levels: Evans, grade 2; Rooplal, grade 2; Hall, grade 3; Joseph, grade 4; Harris, grade 5.

Parents, I welcome you to partner with me to increase your children's Reading skills. I can be reached by emai: myrna.wiley@marion.k12.fl.us, or at my extension 50974.
