Mrs. Brandy Seykoski
Welcome to Harbour View Elementary, home of the dolphins! I am beyond excited to start the 2019-2020 school year and build impactful relationships with the student and parents in our community. This year I am thrilled to teach 60+ students science and the history of our great state, Florida. My excitement is bubbling with the anticipation as the new school year approaches. I am most excited to help your child meet their full potential. Together we will face social challenges, tame behavior and mold young minds to be independent thinkers. I am teaming up with two great ladies, Mrs. Dally and Ms. Ford and together we will spark a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
As a mom I know how important it is to know who is around your child. As your Childs teacher I will spend time with them daily and thought it might be nice if you knew a little bit about me. True to my roots, I am a product of the Marion County School system and attended Harbour View as a child. I graduated from Belleview High in 2006 (Go Rattlers) and decided to persue teaching at Saint Leo University. I hold my BA in Elementary education K-6 with endorsements in ESOL and Reading. I am sailing into my 8th year of teaching, and still have the same passion as the day I graduated. My teachings style is based on relationships first and I really believe that when you invest time into a child, they WILL learn and move mountains. When I am not at school I spend time with my husband and three children. I enjoy bird watching, hawks and humming birds are my favorite. I also enjoy reading, journaling, and cooking. Coffee is my best friend, and there is nothing live some Dove dark chocolate after a long day at work. On Sunday mornings you will find me at One Life church and Sunday evenings are spent with close friends and family. I am a very laid back person filled with tons of love and knowledge. I am looking forwards to an amazing school year, how about you?
