Hello there parents and students!
I will be available on line each day from 8:00 to 9:00 and 12:00-1:00. I will be checking my email and monitoring student work from 7:45 to 2:05.
I will be submiting attendance everyday. Please send me an email and or screen shot that your child is doing their assignments.
I will be able to monitor lessons such as I Ready, and those on Team from my computer.
I will be using Microsoft Teams to deliver my Instruction
To Access Teams:
1. On google search bar put in MCPS Desktop
2. It will then bring up MCPS desktop v18.104.22.168 Click it
3. Use student log in (the one from i ready) if you do not have it, I will email it
4. On Desk top Click on the Student email in upper right hand corner this redirects you to office 365
5. Click on Team Icon

Please make sure you have your child Log into their I Ready Account
They must do 45 minutes of reading and 45 minutes of math each week please do not do all 45 minutes in one day.
If they do not have their password please email me I will try to get their password.
I did give you their password at open house, if you still have the packet.

Please have your child practice their name on it as well as their numbers 1-100. Send me a screen shot of them practicing their name and numbers
There was a sheet with sight words please practice those sight words.

Read any one story per week and send me an email of what it was along with what your child felt was the solution to the problem in the story
or what the author was trying to convey to us.
Check for understanding:
As you read the story have your child tell you what possible unknown words are that they may not understand.
Have your child tell you after you read the story:
- The Setting of the story, and the Main characters.
- The problem that occurred in the story
- Four events that took place in order
- The solution to the problem in the story.
- What was the author trying to convey in this story?
