Kindergarten is where we make new beginnings and freindships and bonds that will last for years to come.  I will make every effort to ensure that your child makes many wonderful memories this year as we embark on our educational journey.  I strive to make learning as hands on and fun as possible.  We will accomplish a lot this year as a class family and am excited to begin our journey together.  

This is my 17 year taaching and all have been in Kindergarten.  Little ones are my passion and can't imagine being as happy in any other grade level.  I began teacing at Saddlewood Eementary when my younges daughter started Kindergarten.   I have been at Hammett Bowen Elementary since the school opened.  I graduated from Florida State University - GO NOLES - with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Social Work.  I enjoyed staying at home with my girls until my youngest started Kindergarten and then was offered a position as a long term substitute at their school and never left Kindergarten since then.  My girls are now 24 and 22 years old.  My oldest just began her first year as a Kindergarten Teacher and my youngest is hoping to start Vet school in the near future.  

My passions outside of school include spending time with my family, the beach, boating, photography and crafting.
