I have been teaching since 2004. This is my 14th year teaching at NMMS. I am teaching 6th Grade Earth/Space Science and 6th Grade Advanced Earth/Space Science. I have also taught math at the high school and middle school levels, and I taught 8th grade science for several years.

I was in the Army from 1988-1992, fighting in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as well as serving in South Korea on the DMZ and in Texas. After leaving the Army, I went to college and got a degree in Management Information Systems. After working in the computer industry for ten years, an opportunity to change careers in the form of a layoff occurred, and here I am now on my 15th year of teaching.
