This course allows students to look at life from a historical perspective.  The present is examined in light of geographic, political, and economic factors that have shaped American history.  Students will identify cause and effect relationships of specific events and look at the interaction of science, society, and technology over the past 200 years.  In eleventh grade we start our study at Reconstruction and continue until the present day.  This course is worth one credit hour and is required for graduation.
