Distance Learning Spring 2020

  • 1. NMHS will not have any students on campus the rest of the year.

    2. Distance Learning for seniors ends May 26th. All work must be done by this date and will not be taken later. For everyone else, the Distance Learning will continue until June 1st.

    3. All assignments will be done through Google Classroom unless you've contacted the front office about having packets ready for work at home. You are responsible for contacting me (via email or phone message) if you have a packet to turn in.

     This is a bit new for most of us so lets work through it together.

    Return of textbooks, Chromebooks, and other instructional materials and school property
    @North Marion High Gym

    Seniors: May 27,2:00pm-6:00pm
    Underclassmen: June 3 & June 4, 2:00pm-6:00pm
    Grade 11: 2:00pm-3:00pm
    Grade 10: 3:00pm-4:00pm
    Grade 09: 4:00pm-5:00pm
    Any remaining students: 5:00pm-6:00pm

    The gym lobby will be set up for the following:
    Textbook return
    Chromebook & charging cord return
    JROTC uniform return
    Purchase of graduation stoles (May 27 only)

    Students/parents will enter the gym lobby one at a time under social distancing guidelines and
    visit stations based on their materials return needs.
    School personnel will be equipped with masks and gloves at each station.
    Textbooks and Chromebooks will be inspected for damage and checked in with a laptop and scanner at their corresponding stations, after which they will be stored in the gym until they are sanitized or a period of two weeks has passed.
