    Welcome to 4th Grade!

                                                                                                                            

                We are delighted to have your child in our classes this year. We are looking forward to many exciting and rewarding experiences for your child as the year progresses. Our main goal this year is to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met. We look forward to working together with you and your child as we strive to accomplish the many goals set before us in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Ms. Zunich will be teaching Math and Science while Mrs. Nieves-Sosa will be teaching Language Arts and Social Studies. The students will spend the morning session with one teacher and the afternoon session with the other.

    Our daily schedule is as follows:

    7:45-8:00 a.m.          Morning Work

    8:00- 9:00 a.m.        Specials and Computer Lab

    9:00- 9:45 a.m.         Language Arts/Social Studies or Math/Science Block

    9:45- 10:30 a.m.       iii (Remediation or Enrichment)

    10:30- 11:30 p.m.    Language Arts/Social Studies or Math/Science Block

    11:30- 11:45 p.m.    Class rotation

    11:45- 12:15 p.m.    Lunch

    12:15- 2:00 p.m.       Language Arts/Social Studies or Math/Science Block

  • This year we are using ClassDojo to encourage important skills like working hard and staying on task.  We will also use it to communicate with you: we can share messages, updates and photos from class.  It's the easiest way for you to see how your child is doing at school and to get in touch with us.  Feel free to ask us any questions!
