I will be available for students or parents via Dojo or email from 7:45-2:05, Monday - Friday. Students can access their email via Office 365 on thier student portal.

     Zoom Video Conferencing:

Families will receive an invite via Dojo or email.  Click on the invitation link and follow directions.

I will be scheduling Zoom Conferencing sessions daily.  Please try to have your child logged in at the begining of the session time, so the session can begin promptly.  Once your child is logged in, they will be placed in a waiting room.  I will bring them into the session individually.  This prevents people who are not part of our class to join our session.  Session invitiations will give dates and times of meetings.

Zoom disclaimer: Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  Theses recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child's image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.

Math: Students will be assigned iReady "teacher assigned" and "individual path" lessons each week.  I will list the names of the "teacher assigned" lessons, so parents can veryify that their child has completed the correct assigments. In order to verify the "individual path" assignments, parents need to look for additional lessons that are dated during that week's instructional dates.  ***Hint: if there are 5 days in the week, there will be 5 seperate iReady math assignments between "teacher assigned" and "individual path".***

Science: Students will be assigned Stemscopes assignments each week.  When they log onto Stemscopes, assignments will pop up immediately.  Remind them to click "turn in" once they have completed each assignment.  My report shows if they have worked on the assignment but does not allow me to see their responses until they complete and submit the work.

Special Area Classes: Each grade level will have only one special area class per week.  Please check the individual teacher websites for their assigments.

4th quarter grades for math will be taken from iReady "teacher assignments", and  "individual path" assignments. 4th quarter grades for science will be taken from Stemscopes.  Please be sure your child completes all assigments each week on time.  I will post assignments on Monday and students will have until the following Sunday to complete.  As of the next Monday, assignments from the previous week will no longer be available. I will make every effort to help parents adjust to this new way of learning and verifying assignments for their child.  However, if you message me after 2:05 or on weekends, I may not be able to respond until the next school day between 7:45-2:05.
