Welcome to Mrs. Corneilson's PK

  •

Be sure to check out the Gallery Section to see new pictures!  We are very busy in our classroom.

I am so excited to be working together to make a difference in your child's life.

  • I sent you an invitation to EPIC, which is free to you until June 30, 2020.

Starfall.com is free right now. The children enjoy this site.

Vroom is a good app that offers activities for your child at his/her developmental level. It's available in the app store on your iphone and probably available for android too.

These suggestions would be difficult for D/HH students because they are auditory based but you can try.

  • Google Classroom is ready.  Find log in information on Class Dojo.  Almost everyone is signed in to Dojo.  Please click on the parent button to login with the credentials you provide. I am hoping to stay in touch with everyone through the Class Story page and messages and I hope you will send photos of your child and their work to the portfolio section.

On Google Classroom, I will provide activity suggestions, videos, links, and assignments for you to complete with your children while school is closed for the Covid-19 situation.

  • Getting started with Google Classroom, Class Dojo and Zoom!

Posted by Lisa Corneilson on 3/30/2020 3:00:00 PM

Parents, you should have recieved invites to Ms. Corneilson's Class Dojo.  Please click on the parent button and log in with the credentials you created.  We will use the Class Story and the Portfolio areas as well as messages.  Please email me if you have trouble with this.

We will also use Google Classroom.  Directions for accessing this is on the Dojo site under messages. Videos to watch, activities you can do with your children while they are at home and ASL sign videos will be posted on Google Classroom.

We will be using Zoom to chat with each other and have "face to face" meetings.

This is very overwhelming so we will do a little at a time as we learn how to become  teammates in the teaching of your child during this time we have to stay at home.

Remember to PLAY!  Have fun and spend time together.  Don't forget to look at books together at least once a day and find time to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!
