F.L.A.M.E. is an acronym for Fostering Learning Abilities in Marion Education.
It is also known as the Gifted Pullout Program
Gifted students receive services from an endorsed Teacher of the Gifted, one day a week.
Gifted services are designed by individual education plans, focusing on the gifted students' strengths and needs.
The F.L.A.M.E. program allows gifted students to be among their intellectual peers, for collaboration, research, and the exploration of a variety of topics.
The F.L.A.M.E. program provides gifted students with non-traditional resources, and time for discovery, with fewer schedule constraints. The program also gives gifted students the opportunity to learn at an accelerated pace.
F.L.A.M.E. students have lunch with their gifted peers, but attend specials with their homeroom class.
