    PURPOSE:

Our purpose is to provide co-curricular organizations and activities to permit all interested students an opportunity to participate. Every effort is made to avoid membership requirements that would prevent this participation.

We offer several clubs for varying periods of time during the year. Some of our clubs include the following:

    National Elementary Honor Society

    Lego Club

    Panther Primetime

    Panther Sound

    Panther Mallet

    Yearbook Club

    Recycling

    Safety Patrol

    Mentoring Program

A chess club is offered for our upper level students. Our television program, called Panther Primetime, is run by fourth and fifth grade students and is organized before school starts.

Our students also have the opportunity to try out for a few sports teams here on campus.  These are provided by our PE department.

The Marion Afterschool Programs (formerly Extended Day Program) provides a few programs, including but not limited to baton, soccer, and plaster art, offered once a month. These programs are offered by outside venders to anyone interested in participating and can be inquired about through the afterschool program.
