• Intensive Reading:

     

     

    Welcome to Reading!  This year we are going to be learning many new reading strategies that will prepare you to pass the state reading test.  We will be doing whole group lessons that will provide you with the background knowledge you need to become a better reader.  The combination of whole group lessons and smaller group activities will enhance your reading abilities and give you the skills you need to be successful.

     

    I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and having a productive year full of fun learning activities.  If we all work hard together, I am sure we will have an amazing year!

     

    Course Description:

     

    The purpose of this course is to provide instruction in reading concepts and skills to enable students with difficulties in reading to function at their highest levels, participate effectively in the community, and prepare for a career:
