The computer lab is a busy place here at school. The lab opens at 7:15 for students to purchase Smencils, use the pencil machine, or turn in BoxTops for a Smencil. 

After a busy morning, the learning begins. All classes (kindergarten - 5th grade) come to the lab for 30 minute classes on everything from typing skills, Word processing, Logic, Coding/Programming, Augmented Reality, Computer building, Digital Citizenship, and the most popular....ROBOTS!!

We are fortunate to have been designated a STEAM school for Marion County. This is nothing new for NHJ as we have been a Math, Science, and Technology Magnet since our opening in 1995.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathamatics.

Students will be learn how to program and code their very own games and to learn how to interact with the newest addition to the computer lab....ROBOTS
