Welcome to 5th grade!  I am Ms. Mengarelli, your child's English/Language Arts and Social Studies teacher.  This is my 11th year at HVE. I can truly say that I love this school. As far as my background, I am a native of a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. (GO STEELERS!) I moved to Florida and finished my undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida. I have a daughter, who is now in middle school at BMS, however, she spent her entire elementary years at HVE and loved this school as much as I do! I have 2 dogs, Occhi & Mavis, and I love being outside or on the lake in my free time.
