Degrees and Certifications:
2020-2021 School Year
Welcome to a new school year at Belleview Elementary. We look forward to working with your child and you this school year. Third grade can be very challenging, and we have high expectations for all the students. One of our goals this year is to improve your child’s organizational skills while increasing their personal responsibility. Mrs. Caro will be the Math and Science teacher. This will be my 13th year at Belleview Elementary. However, I have been working for Marion County School Board for the past twenty-eight years. Ms. Chisholm will be the Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. This will be my 28th year teaching in the Marion County System. We love working with children, and we know this will be a great year for everybody.
Nobody knows your child better than you, so we are counting on your assistance in making this a rewarding and successful year for your child. It is important that we keep the lines of communication open. Please feel free to call the school any time you have a question or concern. We will return your call as soon as possible. The best times to call are before school (from 7:15 AM to 7:40 AM) and after school (from 3:00 PM to 3:50 PM).
We hope you will find the following pages in this booklet helpful in understanding classroom procedures, policies, and ways of keeping up to date of your child’s progress throughout the school year. We are asking that you please read it carefully, discuss it with your child, and keep it in a handy place for future reference. We will also discuss the classroom rules, procedures, and policies with the class.
Once again, we look forward to a great school year! Together we can make it happen. You can always reach us by calling the school at 352-671-6100 or using our email: Sonia.Caro@marion.k12.fl.us, Tinia.Chisholm@marion.k12.fl.us .
