INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE PROGRAM
In 2007, Lake Weir High School became one of only two high schools in Marion County to become members of The International Baccalaureate Organization (IB). A worldwide, nonprofit education program founded to give all students the opportunity to receive an education fit for a globalizing world. All students will receive hard bound textbooks for use in classes. If a parent wishes to only use the online version (for those available) of textbooks and NOT receive hard copy textbooks, please send a note in with the student.
