Mrs. Rosetti's Art Class at Belleview Elementary
Hi, I'm Mrs. Rosetti, the art teacher at Belleview Elementary. Parents are often wondering what things I could use for art that perhaps they could donate. On an ongoing basis, we are always in need of zip-loc bags (all sizes), erasers (preferrably the pink, rectangular kind), and any kind of paper. If there are any left over small, brown or white paper lunch-sized bags you have, we need those, too. Thank you. Without you parents, your help with me on this and when I have to send home a note, our successes in art class wouldn't be possible. If you are wondering what we will be learning in art, please click on the link called "course information". You will also find a complete art room wish list there for supplies we could use. Gallery page is coming soon.
We want kids to have fun in art above all! However, our class has rules we must follow to be compliant with the school policies on our expected behavior at Belleview.
Rules are 1. Be respectful. 2. Be responsible. 3. Be safe. and
4. Be an active learner.
Please, look out for letters from art in the backpack. If rules are broken this is my first way to let you know. Since I teach the whole population of the entire school, communicating with everyone who has a student who may have broken a rule by phone everyday would take two or more hours a day. This is not available in my schedule, as I am taking night classes. This is why it is important for you to ask about notes from art on the child's art day and strongly encourage him or her to be honest with you and bring you those notes home to show you. If infractions are repetitive or strongly serious in nature I will call. Other than that, please communicate and encourage honesty in your child about those notes home from art. Please, call in to conference with me if you are in any doubt. Together we can do so much more. Thank you for helping with this.
