Welcome to Mrs. Noell's Class
Welcome to eighth grade Language Arts!
I look forward to spending the year with you in Language Arts as we read and analyze a variety of fiction and nonfiction pieces and use them as a catalyst to improve our reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
For those of you who will be taking English I Honors with me, this year will mostly consist of opportunities to explore and analyze classic literature and connect it with important, relevant nonfiction to help us improve our critical thinking and communication skills.
Parents, if at any time you have questions or concerns about what we are studying or your child’s progress in class, please feel free to contact me. My hope is that you are able to use this website as a resource to know what is happening in our classroom and how you can help your student do his or her best, as well as help them keep track of all they are responsible for over the course of the school year. If we work together, I know we can achieve a successful school year for all!
