    Yearbook Sale
    You can still pre-order a yearbook. They are $25.00. So don't delay, order today, either at school or online. So bring cash or a check to your homeroom teacher or directly to Mr. Brady. The final deadline to pre-order a book is December 8th. Due to previous years' sales, we're only ordering 100 extra books, and they will go to 8th graders first. So don't take a chance, pre-order yours today and lock it in.

    You may also order online at www.yearbookordercenter.com. Use 1039 as the account number to locate our school.

     

    Parent Surveys

    Users can visit www.marionschools.net and click the “Parent Survey” option under the “Quick Links” section. Users can then take the entire survey in English or Spanish.  Surveys may also be completed on any mobile device. Parents without computer access may complete a survey at their child’s school or at the Title I Office located at 306 NW 7th Avenue in Ocala. All surveys must be completed by February 2, 2018.

    Fort McCoy School Student Code of Conduct

    Please read the Fort McCoy School Student Code of Conduct. It includes all school rules, policies, and procedures. If you would like a hard copy, please contact the school and one will be sent home with your child. Please review the 2017-2018 Marion County Code of Student Conduct. You can access this document under the Parent Info pull down menu above. You may also click here to view it. Once you and your child have reviewed the Marion County Code of Conduct, please sign and return the form that was sent home with your child.

    Extended Day Fees and Registration
    Non-refundable registration fee for each school site:
    $25.00 per child. Each child attending must have their own separate registration form filled out. Failure to comply with registration guidelines may result in the loss of your child's position on the roster. The first week's fees are due on the 1st day of school. Please note that your child is registering for a slot in the Extended Day Program. Registration fees hold your slot for two weeks at the beginning of school. Please note any special needs your child may have on your registration form.

     

    Elementary (k-5) Weekly Fees (No cash, please. Checks or money orders only)
    AM $10.00 per child
    PM $40.00 per child
    Both $50.00 per child

     

    Middle (6-8) Weekly Fees
    AM: $25.00 per child
    PM: $25.00 per child
    Both: $50.00

     

    Early Release Days (No cash, please. Checks or money orders only)
    $30.00 / child must be registered for early release

     

    Emergency Last Minute Fees (No cash, please. Checks or money orders only)
    Morning - Elementary $10.00 / Middle $15.00 per child. Afternoon - Elementary $20.00 / Middle $15.00 per child
    Maximum of SIX (6) times per child per school year.
    Available upon request of Parent / Guardian

     

    Late Pick-Up Penalty (No cash, please. Checks or money orders only)
    $10.00 / child for every 15 minutes after 6:00pm (This fee is calculated by the time on the school clock.)
    Automatic dismissal from the program after THREE (3) Late Pick-Ups. Children who remain on site after 6:45 PM will be released into the custody of a law enforcement officer.

     

    Visitor Information
    For safety purposes, all visitors must first report to the front office in Building 1 where they will be asked for a photo ID. We will give you an identification badge to wear while you are on campus. Please do not go anywhere else on the campus other than your specified visit location. Classrooms cannot be interrupted during the day. Thank you for helping us to keep a safe campus for all of our students

     

    Student Car Rider Policy
    The front drive of the school will be restricted to bus traffic from 6:45 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The car rider loop will be open from 7:10 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. in the morning (students will not be permitted to exit their cars until an adult releases them beginning at 7:25) and from 1:35 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. in the afternoon. In extreme cold weather students will not be released from their cars until the bell rings at 7:30. Elementary students dismiss at 2:00 and middle school students dismiss at 2:05. If you are picking up a middle school student, please refrain from entering the car rider line until after 2:10. As was policy last year, you should have a sign displayed in your front windshield with your child’s name clearly visible. Thank you
