We will continue our weekly Zoom meetings. I will Bloomz you the appointed times with meeting code and password.
My office hours are Monday-Friday from 10-11am and 1-2pm.
New lessons will be sent on Mondays, which are due that Saturday by 3pm. Online work must be completed by Friday.
Students must complete 45 minutes in both Math and Ready on i-Ready!
Specials also have assignments due! Review my PowerPoint for all information, and how to be directed to access teacher's information.

Math Standard: Getting Ready for Grade 3
Assignment 1: Lesson 2.10 Number patterns
Assignment 2: Lesson 2.12 Compare numbers
Assignment 3: Lesson 7.10 Practice telling time
i-Ready Math: 45 minutes
ELA Standard: LAFS.2.RI.1.1- Ask and answer questions as who, what, where, when, why and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.
Assignment 1: Phonics Lesson 26.1 (page 152-153) and Lesson 26.4 (page 159)
Assignment 2: Writing PP19 (page 269) Write a Paragraph
Assignment 3: Comprehension “End of the War” (passage and questions)
Independent Reading: Read for at least 20 minutes daily. Make sure to send list of books read for the with weekly email.
i-Ready Reading: 45 minutes
Social Studies Standard: SS.2.C.2.5 Evaluate the contributions of various African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, veterans, and women.
Assignment: Read Weekly #18 “Presidents and Patriots”
Science Standard: Unit 10 SC.2.P.10.1 Discuss that people use electricity or other forms of energy to cook their food, cool or warm their homes, and power their cars. *Grade 2 students focus on ways energy impacts our lives (electrical energy, solar energy, light energy, heat and sound energy)
Assignment: Create/draw/design a new toy that runs on one of the types of energy. Label the energies in the drawing and email to me with all other work!1
All online work must be completed by Friday, all completed work must be submitted by 3PM on Saturday!
