Welcome to Mrs. Besser's 2nd grade class!
Hello everyone! I have set up a Google Classroom as this will be the method of delivering instruction.
Click the Google Classroom icon on your student desktop or classroom.google.com.
Sign in using the student's email login and password. In the upper right hand corner, select the "+" sign and select "Join Class".
Use the access code: o42kics
Now you are into the new virtual classroom.
Contact me if you are unsure of the email or password!
I have been busy adding photos to our class photo gallery at the bottom of this page. If you email me a picture of you working, I will happily add it to the gallery! See you online!
Welcome to my virtual classroom!
Although we are unable to be on our school campus currently, we can learn no matter where we are!
My virtual office hours are 9:30-10:30am and 1:30-2:30pm. However, outside of those hours I will still respond as quickly as possible via Class Dojo message or my email address email@example.com. You may also call or text me at 352-462-3079.
As the district moves to this format of educating for the forseeable future, I will be using this platform more for communication and posting assignments for your child's education. Also, please continue to check for posts or messages in the ClassDojo app.
Assignments will be posted in the assignments section. A summary of the topics will be provided in the "This Week in..." section of my website.
Full details are in our Google Classroom. Here you will be able to print assignments and submit.
As this is a new for all of us; this website may change. Any changes will be announced on this page.
Thank you for your patience throughout this time.
Students, please know that you are missed, but I look forward to seeing you online!
i-Ready is our online learning resource that meets students where they are as far as ability. Students need to spend 45-50 minutes per week on i-Ready Reading and an additional 45-50 minutes on Math. Remember, we are working towards passing each lesson!
MyOn is our online library. It is full of great books at all reading levels. I encourage you to have your child read stories at their level everyday for at least 20 minutes. Reading daily is important and is an expectation during our time away from campus. Students may utilize MyOn or read traditional books independently or with an adult.
