I am going to be your instructor for American History, American Government, and Introduction to Social Science. Most of the important documents and information for this class is going to be on Canvas. You can find the syllabus, assignments and due date information.

If you are taking this class in the virtual format (period 1 and 5) please navigate to your class for the zoom link to our first class meetings. I will welcome you and help you get started in Canvas. All other students I will see you in class. All classes will be using Canvas for assignments, access to syllabus and up-to-date informtion.
AMH 2010 United States History to 1877
An interpretive survey of United States history that includes the discovery of America, the adoption and growth of the Constitution, the Civil War and Reconstruction.
AMH 2020 United States History Since 1877
An interpretive survey of the United States history since the end of Reconstruction. Major topics include the Economic Revolution, Imperialism, and America's rise as a world power, World War I, the Great Depression, the New Deal, World War II and its aftermath. This course may be available online or as a hybrid.
ISS 1013 Introduction to the Social Sciences
An introduction to the social sciences and to the major issues facing America today. Topics include population, minorities, cities, crime, poverty, health, the environment, values and international relations.
Prerequisite: ENC 1101

POS 2041 American National Government
This course focuses on the United Sates Constitution and political cuture, political institutions, political behavior and current issues.
Prerequisite: ENC 1101
