    Hello Sparr Stallions! I hope you are all staying safe and trying to make the best of this difficult situation.  We will be continuing to make music the best we can during this time. -Mr. Herring



    *4/6 4th and 5th graders read this page and start Lesson 1. Afterwards take a look at the assignments page.  

    2nd and 3rd Graders your assignments are due Friday 4/10/20


    Sparr Elementary Online Music Schedule

    2nd and 3rd Grade: Week 1: Begins Wednesday 4/1 assignments will be due on Friday 4/10.
    4th and 5th Grade: Week 2  begins Monday 4/6 assignmentswill be due on Monday 4/13.
    Kinder and 1st Grade: Week 3 begins Monday 4/13 assignments will be due Monday 4/20.

    Assignments and Lessons

    All assignments will be due Wednesday of the following week. They will be located in the assignments tab and divided by grade level. Throughout the week I will be posting short lessons and videos for students to perform on their own. If there's is a video listed in an assignment I will provide a link in the links tab on the side of the page or it will posted in lessons by grade. 


    Please check on lessons and assignments daily. I will send out reminders using the Remind App.

    Please sign up for the Remind Group for your child. This is a text based app that allows parents to stay in contact with me. Instructions can be found under the Remind Instructions tab. 

    Teacher Availability Hours

    I will be available to answer questions during these times Monday through Friday:

    Morning 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

    Afternoon 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

    During these times you may contact me through email or through Remind and I will be avaliable to answer.

    Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.


    After you've read the homepage please make your way over to the tab for your grade and do lesson 1. After that start to work on your grade's bingo sheet assignment.
