The U.S. Constitution
Constitution Day (Citizenship Day) is normally observed on September 17th, the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document in Philadelphia.
Lake Weir Middle, like many schools, will be observing Constitution Day this Friday, September 16th. Students will learn about this important historic document.
The U.S. Constitution, signed 229 years ago, still stands the tests of time and should be read and understood by "We the People".
Please follow this link Constitution Facts to take a quick facinating facts quiz, and for access to more facts about our Constitution.
