Welcome Back Liberty Lions!

The 2016-2017 school year is underway.

IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE INFORMATION: Liberty Middle School start/stop times have changed for the 2016-2017 school year. The first bell will ring at 7:48 a.m. and we will dismiss at 1:45 p.m. Please make arrangements now for the change in schedule. 

* All INCOMING 7th grade students must have their TDAP shot records on file at the school. Please drop those blue cards off at the front desk from 8am-3pm, Monday-Thursday.

* Mark your calendar:   February 9, 2017, 6:00-8:00 in the cafeteria at Liberty Middle   Future WPHS parents... PARENT NIGHT If your child is a future WPHS student (8th grade) this is for you. - Information session for parents of students attending WPHS 2017-2018, including class scheduling process .

* Please update student Emergency Contact Form - Please inform LMS of any updates that need to be made to student information:  change of address (proof of change required - lease, electric bill, etc.), phone number changed or no longer in service, change of emergency/pickup person's name, phone number.  Help us keep our records up to date.    Emergency Contact Form English  Emergency Contact Form Spanish  Please print form and return LMS front office.

Generic School Supply List

**Please note that individual teachers may have specific supply requirements that are not included on the list. Teachers will make students and parents aware of any additional supplies needed the first week of school.  

• Loose leaf notebook paper
• Pencils
• Pens (blue or black ink)
• 1- one inch three-ring binder
• Hand-held pencil sharpener
• High lighter
• 3 X 5 index cards
• Composition note book
• Duo Tang folders (with pockets and prongs)
• Erasers

 DRESS CODE

• Please see pages 5 and 6 in the Student Planner (each student received a school planner) for full details.
• Skirts and shorts must be at least mid-thigh in length and fit appropriately
• Boy's pants must be worn securely at the waist (no sagging pants)
• No tank tops or muscle shirts or tank tops
• No clothing that is torn, frayed, cut off, or has holes in it above mid-thigh
• No lycra, nylon, spandex, bicycle shorts, or boxers.  Leggings worn under shorts/skirts will be considered skin for the purpose of determining appropriate length.

BOX TOPS 4 EDUCATION

Please send in all box tops you have at home so that Liberty Middle can get MONEY for them! Our goal is $1,000 this year and we’re halfway there!

Upcoming PBS (Positive Behavior Support) Event!

We are partnering with Yankee Candle Fundraising.  This event has concluded.  Thank you for participating.

Safety and Procedures

Please be advised that the speed limit in front of LMS is always posted at 30 m.p.h. When lights are flashing, 20 m.p.h. Please DO NOT stop in the road way to drop off students. It is unsafe and against the law.

Skyward Family Access (the old Parent Portal) is now up and running.  This is your opportunity to see your student's teachers' website, grades, assignments completed and missing, attendance, discipline referrals, etc. 

Bring your photo ID to the Front Office to receive your registration username and password.
